General Introduction

　　Jiangsu Zhongshang Chemical Co.Ltd. (former No.2 Chemical Plant of Jinling Petrochemical Corp.Ltd.,formerly affiliated to Sinopec, is one of the subsidiary comprehensive fine chemical plants of Jinling Petrochemical Co. Ltd.. Jinling Petrochemical Co. Ltd. is a large state petrochemical enterprise, which owns the right of reaching economic and technological cooperation with foreign companies. And it is also one of the important domestic petrochemical production bases mainly engaged in the producing, researching and managing of series products for petroleum, chemical material, fine chemical, organic synthetic material and plastics. Our plant was built in 1954, and it is the leader fine chemical plant that can produce many types of surfactants. Our ”Hehuan” brand is famous for its one-up products in the field of fine chemical in domestic and at abroad.

　　The plant is located at the foot of Zhijin Mountain and at the riverside of Changjiang River, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It owns superior economic environment and convenient land and river transportation; in the meanwhile, it has abundant storage resources and railway for special use.

　　There are nearly 200 engineers and technicians in our plant. And project facilities for public use are complete. Now the plant has the capacity of 120,000MT annual output. The main producing devices are imported from Japan and Italy, and they are all controlled by DCS system. Facing the fierce market competition, our product structure is becoming more and more reasonable and complete with its own speciality to serve the customers carefully.

Our plant is a large fine chemical enterprise, which mainly produces polyether polyols for polyurethane and surfactants, six main series are: agricultural auxiliaries, propylene oxide, polyether polyol, textile auxiliaries, oil-field chemicals, and ethoxylated series, with more than 300 types of products. We can also customize the product according to the clients' different requires. The range of the product distribution covers more than 30 provinces, cities and autonomous districts in China, and the plant wins good market at home and abroad.

　　Our products are widely used in many areas, such as, pesticide, oil-field, oil refining, textile, dyeing, light industry, pharmacy, cosmetics, plastic processing and household electrical appliances, etc.

　　·　Research Power

　　The applied science and research center is the chemical fiber and oil research base of Sinopec. It has abundant technological power to develop nonionic surfactants, pesticide auxiliaries and polyether polyol. And the plant has synthesize study, application of prescription, analysis test, industry magnification, specialization laboratory and multiple-function middle experimental workshops, stock for all kinds of advanced examination equipments and large-scale exactitude apparatus.

　　At present, low unsaturated polyether products synthesized by MMC with the up-to-date development trend have been launched into industry manufacture. And the new series products supply the gap of large molecular weight, high active polyether polyol. In order to meet the demand of environment protection，we developed many new series agricultural adjuvants in recent years. we also take on some national key scientific programs.
